I’m a graduate of Columbia University, and after majoring in English and Philosophy I decided to turn down the tidal wave of job offers (mostly from Taco Bell) in order to fulfill my longtime promise of joining the IDF. It’s a roundabout process, with a less than accommodating supervision staff, run mostly by kids three years younger than me, or more. I’m also starting to live full time in a country I’ve only really vacationed in. So hopefully I’ll record the funnier moments and this will give me an outlet for the more exasperating ones.
Hey Adam, great blog! Its been a real good resource for me since I am also a lone soldier in the process of drafting. I too am trying to go to Dover Tzahal, and would like to ask you a few questions about it if thats okay. Would you prefer me to email you? Thanks, Zach
