Mefager (Meh-fah-ger) – Idiot, stupid, retarded
Literally Mefager is retarded. However, its common usage is idiot or stupid and is used about as commonly as those words. It’s slightly endearing, and definitely in the domain of kids shows. When I asked if there was another word, something little nice for the mentally handicapped, everyone was hard pressed to find one. Looks like political correctness hasn’t quite come here yet. Love it.
