Friar

Dropping the date because I’m so bad at doing this regularly.

Friar (pronounced like you would in English) – The asshole who you can always fuck over, take advantage of, or get to do all the work.

I have no idea where this word came from. It seems (At least to me) to come directly from the english word, Friar. I’m thinking maybe it has yiddish routes. However, it is an incredibly useful word. While we have lots of similar words in english/yiddish like schmuck and gopher, nothing quite grabs the connotation, meaning, and utility of this word.
